We were outside today enjoying the sunshine and the 50 degree temperatures. Charlie was practicing riding his bike. Abby was on the scooter. I was pushing William in the stroller. A priest pulled up and asked us if he was in front of the right house. He was paying a visit to an elderly neighbor who had taken a bad fall and broken her arm a couple weeks ago. I directed him where to go. In the meantime, Charlie got inpatient and was saying, "
MAAAAAM Hurry Up!
MaaaM!!!
MAAAM! " What an inpatient little bugger! I said, "Charlie, do you know who that was?" (We are protestant so the kids did not recognize him by his outfit.) I told the kids that the man was a priest and they looked at me
dumbfounded. I told them that he worked for God and Jesus. Charlie
apologized for acting that way. Abby quickly piped in and said, "
Ooohh, Mama, does that mean he can FLY?"
